Longtime avid reader, mostly within the SFFH genres these days. Also a film and TV buff. I review those and more at http://templetongate.net/. He/him

I was initially impressed with the first film, but it didn't stand up to repeat viewing, and have had no interest in any of the sequels.

I am not very far into an advance review copy, which at this point I am thinking I may not finish, so I will decline to identify it.

I've read most everything, and liked the majority of them. Perhaps he might be honored with the Infinity Award one of these days.

Trying to catch up on Seanan's books (likely impossible at this point) but that is one I had not heard of. I have read several others by Aliette, have the first two of Dominion but haven't read them yet. For the Arabella series I have the first but not read it yet. Not familiar with the other two.

Hello Womble. I am hoping to make the halfway point in Jemisin's The Kingdom of Gods sometime today, but I am not feeling well and want to go back to bed.

I'm much older than you, grew up watching shows that supposedly had "middle class" parents, yet they hardly ever identified what the father, the bread-winner, did for a living.

Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. Now change water to books, and the second clause to but I can't decide which. I sampled three different books yesterday, but neither compelled me to continue.

My new favorite, just finished last night, is Alix E. Harrow's The Everlasting, the book within it being "The Death of Una Everlasting." Or, wait, maybe it's "The Life of Una Everlasting." It is possible the book is still being rewritten as I type this.

I started last night only 50 pages in so far but those pages are very very good.
