Hello! We have orchards. We pick up apples and pears and squash them. We wait impatiently for the juice to do something interesting in tanks and barrels, then put it into bottles, bag-in-boxes, kegs, and cans. We've won awards and we've just opened a webshop: www.templecider.co.uk/temple-cider... 😊
Our International Cider Challenge Gold award winning Yarlington Mill Keeved cider.

The perfect Christmas gift! 🎁

Available from our webshop: www.templecider.co.uk/temple-cider...

Porter's Perfection now safely gathered in, and that should have been the last day of harvesting for 2025... but, Paul...! 🫣

Emergency bottling! Apple picking and pressing were put on hold today as we'd sold out of 500ml bottles of Whisky Barrel Aged cider. 😮

It is such a popular cider at this time of year, so we had to get this bottling done. It made a pleasant change to take photos of something other than fruit too. 😉

Fabulous Sweet Coppin apples that we pressed a few days ago but didn't get around to posting the photos. Time is flying by and it's been a harvest and a half!

This is the first harvest that we've had enough fruit on the Black Dabinett to make a sv pressing worthwhile. 🍎

These are from trees we planted around the biggest pond on the farm. (We have created a lot of ponds - this is Dorset, after all!)

Maisie isn't as impressed as she should be. 🐶

Our favourite apple variety: Yarlington Mill.

The apples are generally smaller this year, and not producing so much juice - presumably due to the long hot summer. The taste is wonderful though, and that's what matters.

Dreary Mondays need new cider!

This is the first time we've put a Whisky Barrel Aged cider into bag-in-box. Also the first time we've done it as a medium-dry.

Nice! 🍻

Only one keg remaining of our Coat Jersey 2021 single varietal, live, naturally sparkling cider.

It's been a really popular one. 🍻

On Eebria now if you want it!

Yesterday was National Apple Day.
We did not participate.
We are, by this point in the harvest, quite frankly, sick of the sight of them. 😅

A huge Hendre Huffcap perry pear. Some are quite tiny, and then you get monsters like this one.

Picking them up would be much easier if they were all monsters! 😅

Bloody Ploughman is a stunning-looking apple. This is one of the trees we planted around the farm buildings not long after we moved to Temple Farm. Looking back to when we planted those trees, we had no clue that 10 years later we'd be 'Temple Cider'.
