With almost 30 years working in multiple roles throughout Tech, I have become fascinated with the people I have crossed paths with and worked along side. My writings reflect what I've learned from such a diverse group of individuals.
As a sports fan and someone who considered themselves to be compassionate, allow me to state that the emotional side stories during playoffs need to go away. It has absolutely nothing to do with the game being played and, oh, btw, I hate that guy!

Could someone please tell Abigail Young to stop calling me? She must have like 50,000 mobile phones because every time I block her she calls me from 3 other phones.

Why do people act confused when you ask them an obvious question about an earlier conversation? Example, someone tells you about a new cancer treatment. The next day you ask, "Hey, when is the new cancer treatment available?". The same person who explained it replies, "New cancer treatment???"

It's amazing how we get nostalgic about putrid behavior. Watching "Mad Men" reruns now and somehow getting excited about Don Draper having sex with his secretary before snuggling up with his girlfriend. Is it possible we are celebrating a better responsibility today? Or are we just sick SOBs?

In the wake of the death of the most progressive reformist Pope in history, I encourage liberals to pray for another progressive as his successor. While we might not pray nonsensically like conservatives do, the right guy might help them see some of the wrong that is in their political beliefs.

Alec Baldwin. Are people on the left ready for forgiveness? My comparison would be to those who offer no contrition. Seriously guys, do you still want to light this guy up?

I want to apologize to the community who are boycotting purchases. I saw some of the posts on here about Trump and had to buy some Grey Goose for a martini. I did avoid Amazon however.

To the folks who voted for the "other guy" and are concerned about the folks who voted for the guy who won... Don't think the winner folks will ever understand what you are saying if all they watch is Fox News. Embrace them as humans and let them know you aren't a crazy socialist.

Anyone into sports on here? Sports feed media rant is worse than Trump nonsense. Steelers trading Mike Tomlin? Duhhhh. Obvious issues with play calling and Pickens this year. But let's can the most winning coach in Steeler history. These guys are more worthless than a MAGA hat in a sandstorm.

Thinking about the great people living in and around LA. I came to know many in my time out west and they were all amazing. Stay strong and we will be there when help is requested. Much love!

People think of Jimmy Carter as passive and weak. Well in 1970 he convinced Georgia conservative voters, as governor, he would maintain the same racist policies of the past. Then, at his acceptance speech, he told them there was no place for discrimination. I'd say that took pretty big BALLS!

I used to think my fall back for the end of my career was to teach. Then I raised my 2nd child. Not sure how these jokers start over from the beginning again every year, no matter what they teach. That takes one thing I don't have. Tolerance, patience, repetition, tenacity, humor, grace.

Where were you 25 years ago? Celebrating the Millennium? Fearing Y2K? Or anticipating the $millions you would make off your Tech stock options when they vest? What a crazy moment in time!

A true transition for our country. The passing of the greatest champion of humanitarianism and morality and the establishment of something much different. Continue to pursue what we know to be right!

Is spatchcocking a chicken considered desecration of a corpse? Although I suppose it's pretty disrespectful to eat someone after killing them anyway.

I always enjoyed going out with the account teams, celebrating growth in business with some nice cigars. Nothing says, "Screw you honey" like coming home wreaking of Macanudo, with ass breath. "Hey baby, I'm so successful that I've made myself into a disgusting ball of smoke and bad breath!"

In my career, my higher skillset has been managed by the lower skillset leader several times. Like an episode from the Sopranos ( Uncle Junior), I try to position the lower skillset leader to deal with stupid executive management nonsense. I guess I'm really not management material after all.

Watching a classic tonight. Is there any supporting actress in a movie who is hotter than Donna Reed in "It's a Wonderful Life"?

Show of hands on the guys who have traveled to an Islamic country and mistaken the hotel male prayer room for the restroom. That feeling of having to quick zip your fly up while frantically making an exit is unforgettable.

Ever since college I have come into work at 9:30-10am. One job I worked along side someone with an older mentality who would arrive at 8:00. When I walked in he would say, "Well good morning sunshine" everyday. I wanted to reply, "I would have been here sooner but your wife wouldn't let me go."

I heard something today I haven't heard in 20 years. "It's all motherhood and apple pie.". Spoken usually by an engineering director as they show a slide with one or more big pictures and company logo, it means, 'This is a marketing slide that is worthless.'. So why are you presenting it?
