They also had this Taiwan Sugar steam locomotive that, whilst just a static exhibit, was set up to demonstrate the motion of the valves, connecting rods and wheels.

The coolest interactive display at the railway museum was this 'backless' LCD screen that moved along to give an X-ray view of the inner workings of the locomotive behind it.
