Rosettes at Liberton Brae! 🏅

Over at our Liberton Brae centre, this student, who loves all things horses, has been collecting rosettes throughout the day for the positive things he does.

Each rosette has a word, such as Kind, Brave, Safe, or Hard Work, and is earned whenever that skill is shown!❤️

Celebrating Burns Night🐂💙

Trainees at our Fisherrow Centre Next Steps Hub marked Burns Night in a creative way this year, by designing their own tartans🎨

It was a brilliant opportunity to explore Scottish culture, experiment with colours and patterns, and enjoy a relaxed, hands‑on activity.

Like many across Scotland, our students are getting active this month thanks to the sports equipment we were able to buy with donations from Tesco. The new kit has brought more movement, exercise, and fun into our daily sessions.

Our students from East Lothian had a fantastic time visiting the local fire station this week. They learned about fire safety, explored the fire engines, and got to see what life is like for the firefighters who keep our communities safe.

Developing Fine Dexterity🫶

This student from our McDonald Road Centre is working on fine dexterity skills, the ability to coordinate small muscles in the hands and fingers with the eyes to make precise, controlled movements.

🎭 Oh yes they did!

Last year, Teens+ Project Workers Scott, Daniel & Ethan smashed the Edinburgh 10k, raising £800 to treat Liberton Brae Drama Group to the Panto after their amazing Little Red Riding Hood show.
