maybe i have weird feelings of guilt bc my body parts that i grew myself that some people would love to have are going to become medical waste, and i can't give them a new home where they'd be appreciated!

i feel like these are actually super common feelings we're just forced to pretend otherwise.

like maybe surgery can just be scary, and i don't view my body parts as indicators of "the wrong body" that need to be yeeted post-haste! maybe i'm just frustrated that my only option *is* surgery because i was forced to go through endogenous puberty!

this feels similar to how ive been feeling re: getting top surgery. i'm lucky bc my therapist actually gives me the space to process the ambivalence/complicated feelings abt surgery. but this need to be like I Need This For My Gender in every other aspect of pursuing care is v stressful.
