A diploma in Ontario should open the door to a career. Youth aren't asking for shortcuts, just a fair shot.

That’s why @ontliberal.bsky.social proposed a $450 million Youth Career Fund: to rebuild the path from graduation to opportunity and ensure a generation isn't left waiting.

On Monday, I met with @ontariopork.bsky.social to discuss their export strategy and competitive advantage in global markets. The industry is working to expand exports beyond the U.S., and increase in-province processing before selling their products internationally.

Dr. Ammar Rashid, a Pakistani immigrant, was recognized in 2022 for his work in improving access to family medicine in Kingston.

Ontario’s plan to restrict residency matching to international grads with two years of Ontario high school would shut out talent when we need it most.

On Tuesday, I met with the Chicken Farmers of Ontario at Queen’s Park to discuss industry developments, including how they were impacted by the avian flu hitting the U.S.

At the chicken-wing reception, I got to feature the Ultra Hot Sauce from the Iron Duke on Wellington. #OntAg

Today, on #TransgenderDayofRemembrance, we recognize those who have been victims of transphobic hate and violence in Ontario.

The trans community continues to face barriers to acceptance, and this day reminds us to stand with them in their fight for respect, dignity, and inclusion.

This week, I met with the @ontariobeef.bsky.social to discuss a breeder loan guarantee modeled on the existing feeder program.

Thanks for explaining what a default would look like, and how the program has never required a payout for a default since it began in 1990.

Yesterday, I attended several #RemembranceDay ceremonies and had the honour of laying a wreath on behalf of the Province of Ontario.

Each ceremony was a powerful reminder of Canada’s history and the respect our community holds for those who served.

Today on Remembrance Day, we honour the sacrifices of Canadian veterans who bravely left their loved ones to serve and defend the values that define us as Canadians.

To all the veterans who've passed through Kingston—thank you for your service. #LestWeForget

A board supervisor from the GTA can’t understand the unique local context of every community in Ontario. That’s why we elect local school board trustees.

If the province eliminates them, we risk losing an important voice for voters and families.

Your energy bill jumped 30% last weekend. Doug Ford’s government is hiding it by hiking a $6.5B taxpayer subsidy.

It’s not cost savings, it's cost shifting—from your hydro bill to your income or sales tax. Ontario needs better economics, not better optics.

For the past two weeks, the Ford government has been distracted by their scandals instead of focusing on what Ontarians need most, like affordable housing, job security, and stable access to healthcare.

People deserve a government that puts their needs first.

Grateful to the India-Canada Association for inviting me to celebrate the end of Diwali!

Saturday’s event was a wonderful display of culture and community, and it was great to connect with both new and familiar faces throughout the evening.

When the government distributes public funds, people expect that money will go to those who have earned it through hard work, but with this government, you can’t be so sure.

Ontarians deserve fairness, not favouritism.

Joyeuse Halloween ! J’espère que tout le monde passera une soirée amusante et un peu effrayante. N’oubliez pas de rester prudents, de faire attention aux enfants qui passent l’Halloween et de redoubler de vigilance en traversant les rues. #ygk

Talent shouldn't pay a toll. When businesses in Kingston and the Islands follow the rules, they should trust that SDF funding will be awarded on merit.

No applicant should have to bribe their way in, or fear a blacklist for challenging an unfair system.

It’s #SmallBusinessWeek in Ontario! #Kingston is home to so many incredible locally owned businesses. It’s been a tough year for many businesses, so take this week to show your support by shopping local.

You can also call, email, or visit my office to request a sign!

I had a great meeting with the Dairy Farmers of Ontario at Queen's Park. I had the opportunity to talk to them about infrastructure upgrades at dairy processing facilities and other things that they need to succeed to continue to provide world-class products right here at home.

Today I wrote to the Auditor General again, requesting an audit into the major delays and possible cost overruns on the new ferry dock project.

With the Kingston dock now slated for 2027, I'd like to understand why this project is so severely delayed.

This month marks #IslamicHistoryMonth, giving us an opportunity to celebrate the many contributions Muslim communities have made in Kingston and across Ontario. It’s also a reminder to stand against Islamophobia and continue building inclusive spaces where everyone belongs.
