Years ago I was hiking in Cades Cove GSMNP. I was paying more attention to my footing than direction and heard a snort...... Fortunately Mr/Ms Bear was just as surprised to see me, so we came to a mutual agreement to move in opposite directions.

Great captures. I've been neglecting that particular hobby far too long myself. Sol taken through an 8" reflector and homemade filter with one of those old Sony pocket digital cams. Luna, same scope but with a Nikon D60 on a T-Ring mount.

I've been there myself. Fist pic is a collage I made during a Search and Rescue operation in the worst part of hurricane Gloria because the Coast Guard deemed the rescue too hazardous. Second was on the same ship (USS Brumby DE-1044) operating as a part time submarine in the North Atlantic.

From what I can find, what is now BP created the conditions that allow this to still happen 70 years later. Fire mountain Sylhet, Bangladeshsince since 1955.

I have an old DJI Phantom 3 that I have probably broken multiple IP/copyright laws to keep running. Flying up Cheoah Lake over NC 28 bridge near Fontana, NC.
