Yeah this reminds me of when my dad's alcoholism started getting out of control and he started thinking he could be drunk outside the house and no one would be the wiser.

Please check the threads from federal workers on Reddit (the /r/fednews subreddit), lots of stories of disabled veterans who work for the federal gov't getting fired for "lack of fitness" by DOGE. One poster said an employee at their federal office took his own life after getting fired.
