Great start to @polstudiesassoc.bsky.social conference, meeting with so many talented early career academics and discussing how to get started in the job market. Challenging times, but still some great opportunities in the sector and beyond.

Over the past few weeks, there have been instances of hundreds of millions of dollars of federal grants and contracts for colleges and universities being cancelled or suspended, paired with promises of reinstating funding in return for compliance with a list of demands for institutional overhaul.
