More skin on Love Boat!
There is something very "Tibetan Sand Mandala" about having all the channels I cut yesterday in our death trap of a driveway fill in with the water from the ice melt I spread and turn into black ice overnight. La Lucha Continúa.

In honor of my 50th spin around the sun (and due to a push from my wife and daughter), I am proud to declare I have moved on to a 4th wallet in my life.

I still say that sweet OP wallet in baby blue with a surfer on it I bought at Redney's in Newport RI when I was 13 should still be on my hip.

When you lose the argument just by showing up.
[Pryor] Ryan Kennedy, the Lions fan involved in the altercation with DK Metcalf, held a press conference. Unclear his full message because the audio on their zoom was muted until halfway through

He did ask “DeKaylin” to tell people he didnt use racial slur or hate speech twitter.com/bepryor/stat...

One of my favorite NFL traditions just now in the Broncos game: players from both teams forming a circle to pray to any god who will listen to not let a player be dead, broadcast shows a replay and the announcer sees fit to say, “Obviously, an incomplete pass on the play.”

All this betting on the NFL and somehow I can’t get odds on which celebrity will sell their public goodwill for cash to make terrible, forced food puns for Uber Eats next year.

All-timer from The Rockford Files that applies to life, fate, karma, you name it: “Maybe you will, maybe you won’t. Maybe you’ll wind up the night manager at the Sepulveda Pitch’n’Putt. Who knows?”

Really loved the new 500 Songs episode on one of my favorites, Jimmy Cliff, so I will forgive @andrewhickey.500songs.com for missing the opportunity to open with, "Listener, don't be alarmed. But Jimmy Cliff is dead." 500songs.com/podcast/song...

In the interests of trying to unscrew whatever has happened to my back, I found myself in Child's Pose right around 5am today. As I crouched there I had time to realize I was facing Due West and thought, "You are really covering all the possible bets this Holiday season, huh?"

Just an FYI, "Self-published 3 books" is exactly as impressive as "Defended myself in court multiple times".

I never thought I’d be the person saying this, but if you want the reincarnation of John Madden, announcer, I think JJ Watt is as close as you will get.

You can tell there were zero user interviews in the process of packaging this magnetic bowl for holding loose parts during a job because it came with those nuts and washers and who wants to finish and find left over parts?

Got a nice support reply saying Yes, they had removed the CSV export feature. I'd like to shake my fist and grouse but, having supported that exact feature multiple times, I know it lives in that space of "Used by 1% but a fabulous vector for security and performance issues."

I try, and often fail, at keeping myself in perspective. I think I am a worldy citizen and I thoroughly enjoy and cook all types of cuisines, but I am old enough I still capitalize "avocado" on grocery lists because it has a faint whiff of "foreign exotica" to it.

From the perspective of an English teacher, it's cool the Trump Administration keeps proving the eternalness of Shakespeare. Unfortunately for the administration, they seem to be echoing the wrong parts of Henry V.
