Guess I need to dump the last five years of information about all my movies and screenplays on here.

Sounds exhausting. 😩

Until then, check out the feature film I'm working on bringing to life. Artist I Am - todayartends.com
ARTIST I AM - TODAY. ART. ENDS.
After a heated art auction ends with a masterpiece destroyed, a retired INTERPOL director must return to unravel cryptic digital clues before other treasured works fall to an escalating threat.

Can’t work all the time. Headed back from a week in Curacao with the family. Great snorkeling. Nice people. Interesting food.

My screenplay Alone has officially landed in the top 1% on The Black List, earning two 8s and a recent 6 from professional readers. This is the same script that received a rare “Recommend” rating from a 40-year veteran Hollywood script analyst.

Sometimes, the feature films I write actually get made—and I can finally say that! If you’re into vampire dramas, you might enjoy this indie production, shot right here in Atlanta on a shoestring budget. Rooted in Greek mythology, the story leans into a modern-day love tale.
Watch Ambrogio: The First Vampire | Prime Video
Ambrogio, a millennium old Vampire and the first of his kind, encounters a woman who resembles his long lost love. As well as dealing with a long time enemy, bent on revenge.

Just dropped another novella under my author pseudonym, Fish Phillips—adapted from one of my screenplays. Had a table read in Atlanta with a killer cast, and they loved it. If you’re into unhinged bizarro comedy, like all my other comedy writing, this one’s for you. Check it out: a.co/d/aRft6qW

Well, someone bought one of my old non-fiction books. So here’s the obligatory link post to celebrate. I really need to make a second edition of this now that I kind of know what I’m doing.

I know our country is on fire. I know Trump is bad and is doing very bad things, and I often address those things with posts and reposts. But if I post a joke about my kid or my dog or a pleasant experience at a diner, don’t scold me for not exclusively talking politics 24/7. Please just ignore me.

Some people blame DEI when they don’t get the job but then credit their brilliance when they do. That’s self-serving bias. Maybe the issue isn’t DEI. Maybe it’s your ego. Or your racism. And maybe that was obvious in the interview. Nobody wants that energy on their team.

Told an associate today that living in the USA feels like being in an abusive home. I've been there before. Back then, I kept painting, playing piano, and singing. I survived. That lesson carries over to today: keep doing the work not because the world is fine but because that is how we all survive.
