I live near 6th Ave between Atlantic and Flatbush in Brooklyn and the boxes are blocked the entire day. It's right in front of a police and fire station but law enforcement never enforces the law

It's good but I wish there were more wet rooms to hang my coat

This summer India cut their tariffs from 115% to 15%. Hopefully they are rich enough to start seeing similar BEV numbers soon

I'm most of the way finished with the dinosaur book. My favorites: the T Rex was about as smart as a chimpanzee. Also dinosaur bones have rings so you can tell how old they are.

This post is how I realized the dinosaur book I bought and the mammal book I bought have the same author. We clearly read the same thread on here

Riding a bike is the mode that teaches you to think everyone is out to kill you, because you have to behave as if they are for your own safety. If you just blindly follow traffic laws on your bike you will be squished by a motorist within a week

I really disagree that driving a car teaches you that everyone is out to kill you. If anything it makes you too nonchalant about danger and mortality in general - drivers are the least likely to contemplate the gravity of what they're doing
