My June Writing Goals ✍️ The first half of this year wasn't as writerly as I hoped it would be, but I am trying to get back on track! First is competing in the forestandfawnretreats faery contest! I also submitted to the previous one and really enjoyed the process! 1/3

First 5 star read of 2025, even though I struggled initially getting into the story. By halfway I was hooked and I am really excited for the next book!! Keywords: Rich world-building Dark fantasy Political intrigue LGBTQIA2S+ Badass FMC Enemies (ish) to Lovers CW: gore, blood, death, violence Spicy: Mild to Medium - One explicitly sexual scene. Many sexual references.

Character focused, the relationships between the 5 women are the core of the chilling story about the price of ambition. Spice: none, but suggestive dialogue and descriptions.
