We plead for more of our Republican colleagues, friends, and family to be brave, stand up against the tyranny that has overtaken your party, denounce Constitutional violations, and demand accountability. The terrorizing and killing of citizens isn't a partisan issue.

Make sure to come out to our candidates forum on Feb 5. We will have 6 candidates running in our upcoming local, state, and federal elections, so come out, meet them, hear what they have to say, and even offer questions for the candidates yourself.

The Taylor County Democratic Party and Defend Democracy Abilene will be hosting a march to protest the killing of Renee Good by ICE agents in Minnesota followed by a vigil at Rose Park. All are welcomed to join us as we speak out against tyranny and honor a life tragically taken too soon.
Thank you to everybody who came out tonight. I think everybody was able to have a little bit of healing during a time that is so hard for all of us. Thank you chair Sammy Garcia for hosting this tonight.
