i used to think they are overemphasised, and if someone hits the button but doesn't buy the game that's a wash. but that was wrong, as steam factors them in when displaying games to users. especially in next fest!
but i find the advice is rarely "how get wishlists" but just "get 10k gl hf"

hehe, because all the dialogue stuff was added like 6 months after launch! now you meet other people at camps, there's some bookending scenes, shopkeepers talk to you, etc. all thanks to @npckc.net

but the only other solution is relying on a robot to identify buttholes and then complaining when it's overzealous. like, yea, GoonerRepostBot won't tag stuff and people shouldn't be banned, but it's just like encouraging alt text.

Like I don’t want to get too Like That, but this one seems quite easy and life affirming. Go write a steam review for an indie game instead.

idk uncharted came out in 2007 and nate told you to press select before you saw the puzzle.
it's more of a factor that bosses like the certainty of bland, overly-focus tested and metric driven design, than because the kids do be on their phones.
