It's not convenient for many Kentucky residents to go to Frankfort. It's not convenient for many West Virginians to go to Charleston. The on-site public comment hearings are one way to help more people participate.

I’ll predict this year’s numbers will look better or no worse. Don’t give Trump too much credit, though. Natural gas prices have gone up, and that’s usually to coal’s benefit.
