That's good to know thanks. And yeah universe reimaginings are to bring people in over time. it's a new starting point of a character or a person taking up the mantle so there's no 50 year law to catch-up. Sometimes they work sometimes they don't. The new Spider-Man seems to be working.

I heard these new Ultimate comics were reimagines. I just looked and saw they had new X-Men and a black panther ones though I'd ask others first. also just found the series called The Ultimates Which I'm guessing is where what you described happened.

Not really no. These movies are meant to be watched by younger audiences and are self-contained. They're different enough to work in their medium. They focus on shadows.
adventure 2's plot was up to 3^ hours of game and cutscenes. Even adding Rouge was cut for runtime and she can be explored later.
