Same. Decent firsts, so many seconds, but just couldn't get 3 firsts in one set :(. Balance patch next week should make things interesting though

I was very confused for a couple days because I didn't see the JP event news and I couldn't figure out why someone who I would describe as the "most forgotten character" suddenly had piles of really horny art

Yeah both my opponents had golshi + nature. Fortunately the other one just had some of the skills and 600 wit, not fully evil like this one. Though ironically, I actually came second and this trainer came third 😅

It's crazy how fast my runs went from "I usually win the finals, but I have to buy skills along the way and 1100/600/600 requires luck" to "stats go BRRR buy everything at the end"

Though also I think that's only 6 months for global - it seems like we're getting 50% overlap on banners where JP was just one banner at a time

yeah, I watched a video previewing the next year of banners and they were very good about putting it in context: "You pull on this banner because you might get lucky and get a good Kitasan along the way, but what you're actually doing is pulling 200 times to fill out your SR pool"

It feels like the old ones were never not awkward, but these ones will probably feel really slick once you get used to exactly how the resistance curve feels

I've tried re-playing gen 1/2 and they are soooo hard to just...physically play. I don't have enough nostalgia to deal with all the old mechanics that have gotten fixed since then. Even just switching to gen 3 for FR/LG is too much of a QOL upgrade for me to pass up
