Absolutely, Kerry. Most of the time, if I was punished, it was because I'd done something wrong. But my friend had a different experience; he was beaten for no reason at all. A genuinely nice guy too, but those Christian Brothers could be incredible bastards. BTW I am not trying to be sectarian.

I was born schooled in Belfast. Don’t get me wrong, we slap for stepping out of line. However, my friend got a proper kicking from the brothers. Black and blue, his daddy was one of the few catholic in the RUC and he just said you must of deserved it. They actually enjoyed it, he would say. Brutal

Mate of mine went to school taught by the Christian Brothers. Utterly brutal. This was 80s so we had copper punishment at my school. Nothing compared to what he got.

He’s a unstable,unpredictable, ego driven asshole. This is not doing a dodgy deal with his Daddy’s holding his hand. This is geopolitics that takes nuanced and consistent negotiations. Trump is doing this for his ego, he’s in over his head. Play to his ego and he does a complete 160.

It annoys me that our defending is so bloody poor. I know when the final whistle goes it not matter what the score is. But it should matter during the game.
