I’m not sure from the screenshot whether or not the article shows how very culpable pasok were in their own decline - as with Labour now, it’s not just the actions of the right, it’s their own response that kills them

I mean they have the examples of Parti Socialiste in France and Pasok in Greece, both of which destroyed their own voting base by aping the right, although not quite this level of sheer racist brutality, and they’re gonna go the same way. But the harm they’ll do in the meanwhile is horrifying…

I’m not convinced they’re not aware - there is a section of people around the Labour leadership who just don’t care, literally don’t give a fuck about people, and another section (“Blue Labour”) who appear to have had a deliberate policy of turning Labour into this kind of horror for some time
