Yes! Just secured an interview with a local dub-step musician that's moderately successful abroad as well!
I've no idea what'll happen from this new endeavor of mine but I sure as hack plan to enjoy it!

Donno if people noticed but JP artists on twitter started censoring their smut manga beyond reason.
Now even the male chest area gets all white out. It's literally a white blob, or like a gray rectangle or something.

I stopped counting how many times I've seen portfolios that completely excluded SFX or did the absolute bare minimum (subtitles with Impact-esque font).
Another tip... if the portfolio includes handwritten lettering that's an added bonus, regardless if the publisher needs that skill or not.

People need to know at base level what they're getting themselves into and the easiest way for you to show that is through pages that showcase various styles of lettering.

There are a lot of basic resources online and free pages you can work on. Do those and add them to your portfolio!

Why do top people so often commit to something where they don't have an ounce of intention to look into stuff themselves even less properly delegate to others so others could handle the job instead of them?!
