What on God's (for now) green Earth does he think he is doing? Economists say this makes no sense. Prices will go up, income will go down... well maybe not for him. Anyway, if the health of the US economy goes down, it drags that of the rest of the world with it.

As someone who grew up with a severe milk allergy (food allergies are life threatening) this is one reason why we need regulatory bodies in place. Without them things like this would happen more often and not get caught. And then what? People with allergies die and "oh well"? Oh, and it gets worse.
The problem ingredient identified was "undeclared milk," which poses a risk to those with severe sensitivities or allergies.

Let me say this clearly. The tariffs are a money grab. Less money in the hands of the American people due to the new 25% tax on goods. More money to distribute to his cronies in the form of tax cuts.

From an economics POV, this makes no sense. What are they thinking?
