Good morning! Barry’s Irish Tea, very strong with a splash of milk. The mug tells no lies. 🦇

Lucy (tuxedo) and Zelda (gray tabby) will both greet Charlie Brown. They were so special. Lucy was my soul cat. She’ll be happy to show CB how to put his favorite toys in the water dish, and sweet, sweet Zelda will groom Charlie B with endless joy and affection.

Pretending it’s not 82 degrees out and forging ahead with long simmering bolognese sauce and gochujang caramel cookies because Fall, dammit. 🍂🍁🥵

This is very cool. Thank you! I look forward to reading it later on today. The weaving I’ve done is more decorative in nature, like wall hangings (example below). But I’d love to try a large loom someday.

Earlier posts had better pictures of the drawing and, admittedly, I am more of an artist than poet, but I had fun with this. #InvertArtChallenge
Thank you so much, @saimihanma.bsky.social for hosting this.

At last, my final page for June’s #InvertArtChallenge
As mentioned in an earlier post, this was a practice drawing that I ended up loving so I turned the awkward location of the sketch into a journal page along with the poem I wrote.

And, as so often is the case with me, I decided I liked the sketch well enough for it not to be a “practice piece”. So now I have a nice little drawing, oddly placed on a writing page. 🙃

I started a practice drawing in the corner of a writing journal page

Our subject for June is the Sweat Bee. I knew nothing about this small fren so I read up and looked at some photos. This was my reference photo

I’m sending good thoughts to Jay and a pic of my niece, Fu fu, on her birthday earlier this year.

That time of year again. Time to play lamb or labradoodle cake. Happy Spring!

Craving satisfied. Pepe’s in Yonkers ftw, when you can’t get to New Haven. 😊

He are my two guys. Ozzy, the long hair and Hachi, his brother. Not dogs, but Ozzy is nearly big enough to be a wheel dog! 😹Good luck with the forms. I empathize, I have form phobia.

I really take that to heart! Ooh definitely need a break when working a blanket. I promised myself I’d finish this table rug I started Jan. 1st but … ya know. 🤷🏻‍♀️😹

Good luck, Gonzo! We are also waiting for grossery delivery, but these two weirdos always race to the door when they knock. 😹

I just started this V stitch scarf with scraps leftover from a weaving I did years ago. (Though first I had to untangle all the scraps. 😹)

When in doubt, make soup.
