Kratos's while development through the Norse games is that while he was a monster in the past, he is in charge of his own choices and he doesn't have to make the same mistakes again or pass that to his son.

Vegeta and Kratos I will defend because both of them have had a TON of character development.

Vegeta specifically was part of a warrior race that prided itself on how many genocides you could commit. Ever since he started making friends that valued other things, he's changed.

Hank Green made an app called focus friend. It rewards you for staying off of your phone. I have been using it for meditation myself for a little while now. I also use it to stay off my phone while I write. I highly recommend it especially if you have some sort of attention deficit disorder.
