I went for a nice walk to look at the lily pads on the pond today, and it felt really good. I am trying to do something uplifting each day.

I have been feeling overwhelmingly stressed as of late, as I know many of us have.

One thing that has helped me immensely is finding new parks to run and hike in. Just getting away from everything and taking in the beauty and peace of nature has been my therapy.

Take time to get outside & breathe.

Just a note to anyone who may be feeling sad or melancholy on Mother's Day because you lost someone you cared about and are spending the day alone...you aren't totally alone. There are lots of us struggling today. Be kind to yourself. Hugs and love to you all. 💗

Take a break from social media and go outside or have a cup of tea. Experience a little joy today. This will be a long fight. Be kind to yourself.💙

To all my Blue brothers and sisters. Keep fighting and #resist. We are in this together.💙🔥

Today has been a hard one to swallow.

It felt good to take a break from everything and go for a walk in the rain. Then, like magic, the sun came out and illuminated everything. It was beautiful.

I will keep fighting this regime. But we all need to step back and take care of ourselves sometimes.💙

Best part of my day: Finding some pussy willows at a park in a nearby town.

Find some time to go outside and breathe. It helps so much. 💙

Thanks for including me, Mark. I followed those new to me and reposted. Hope you all have a good weekend.💙 #Resist

Pearls of wisdom for the day.

(And #Resist the damned Nazis.)

Good night to you all. 💙

On my walk today, I came across this metal staircase in the middle of nowhere. There is no path or anything. I thought it was so weird and cool!

Go outside and breathe.💙

Today's news has been disheartening and disturbing.

I am sharing a photo of a moment of joy I found on my run today. I love the way the moss and lichen looked on this fence on the trail.

Find some joy somewhere. It makes a difference. Hugs to you all. 💙

Sophie Scholl was a key member of the resistance group the White Rose in Nazi Germany. From their pamphlet:

"Why do you tolerate these rulers gradually robbing you...of one right after another, until nothing...remains but the machinery of the state, under the command of criminals and drunkards?"

Everything is crazy and awful right now.

So here is something kind of cool that I found on my run on a trail today: a heart carved in the moss on a tree. It made me smile. There is still love in the world.

One of the only things that brings me peace these days is running in the woods. It was raining rather heavily today, and I loved the way the moss was soaked with water.

Find peace where you can right now.

My moment of joy today: watching ducks swim on a pond at a park today where my son used to always love watching them.
February 9, 2025 at 12:08 AM
Today's news has been rather overwhelming.

I have had to remind myself to breathe and stop the scrolling for a while. Let yourself have some time to drink a hot cocoa or tea and just be.

I don't know what is going to happen, but destroying yourself with stress won't help. 💙

Everything is crazy right now.

But the ferns looked lovely after the rain stopped and the sun broke through for a few moments. I will try to appreciate peace and beauty as often as I can. Hope you all try to do the same. 💙

A few moments of zen today walking in the woods admiring the beauty of the ferns and moss adorning a tree trunk of sister trees.

It has been an overwhelming week. Please try to go outside and breathe a little today. Enjoy the moment. Be kind to yourself and others. Self-care is essential. 💙 #Resist

We are all interconnected.

We are ALL affected by these horrific acts against immigrants happening now. All of us are targets to this rotten, corrupt regime.

We must do all we can to help one another right now. We are in this together. Find strength in unity and our shared humanity.💙

I love the way the winter sun looks through the bare tree branches.

(I know my pics aren't spectacular, but experiencing nature brings me a sense of peace in this time of turmoil, and I hope it might do so for you, too.)
