I know I'm relatively new to chronic illness, but I'm so surprised by the amount of grifters coming after people with little to no income. I know we're a desperate population but holy shit.

Something seemed off about the way a lot of characters in this book were written. Turns out it was published back in 2005, which means it was probably written around when I was graduating high school.

I made it through January without crashing (Due to the fun projects, anyway) so I get to spend 20 minutes a day on the fun projects now! We'll see if I can do 20 minutes continuously or if I have to split that up. #mecfs

I was planning to keep with the weekly updates, really! With the lack of my main computer, I was on a temporary computer that has a keyboard that I absolutely hate. There's keys that just don't work properly, some things are just in the wrong place, and the feeling of it…

Surprise, I really struggle on keyboards that I dislike using and, given that I'm mostly relegated to bed when I'm trying to do anything

I got her some pet stairs because she's getting older. So far she has jumped up on the top step and will not touch the lower steps.

I have spent the last week convinced she was dying. One vet visit later and it turns out she is totally fine, but one of my meds causes severe anxiety. #caturday #chronicillness

I've struggled with writing older characters because I feel so bad for people whose identities revolve around their jobs, which is the case for so many career-aged people. I felt bad for myself when I was still working. Which means for now I'm capping out at college aged characters.

Working on the book 2 rewrite and if I ever get around to recording an audiobook version of this I am going to make some choices that listeners are going to hate but will make me very happy.
