the pros of taking the train from my home region to the north of Germany is the amazing view of River Rhine, the hills on it's bank and even some of the many many Castles of the Region

Due to a terrible regional connection I have had a 2 and 1/2 hour layover at Mainz Mainstation, but now I am finaly in my comfy first class long distance train seat heading to Essen for Spiel later this week. Now watching some @streampunksrpg.bsky.social Star Trek Adventures vod

New board game arrived today (adding to my already huge stack of story heavy solo playable games). This one had me intrigued the moment I learned about it for it being a story game with Arthurian Knights, but also very very much because of the amazing cover art from @medusadollmaker.bsky.social

So Critical Role is an important fandom for me. This D&D actual play helped me through a lot of tough time the last 10 years. So when the first official book with art by fans was announced I had to pre-order the limited edition (Did I mention I am a collector of way to many things?)

Android:Netrunner was one of my favorite Card Games I even played tournaments. A book with Artwork from the Card Game and Info of the "World" of it. Yes please!

The Arkham Files series of Games by FFG are among my favorite board/card games. An Art book with art from the games and background of the recurring characters equals one more book in my possession.

Another thing people know about me is that I am a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy and (funds and time and space permitting) hope to join Rebel Legion one day maybe. So a book about costume from Episode 4,5 and 6 was a must have.

I am a science nerd (having a degree in biology) and one of the things that's fascinating me since childhood is space. So when I saw this book with images from German Astronaut Alexander Gerst I had to get it.

Too many to be able to pick a favorite, but here is a version that might not be that well known: Spaghetti Pizza (the "crust" is cooked Spaghetti and a mixture of eggs and cream, which is pre-baked and then topped with your usual go to Pizza sauce and Toppings)
