Which, based on the fact that this vehicle is only supposed to be capable of 49 to 50 mpg, means that most of my gains are from my competence as a driver, and that if I'd switched to an EV, I'd be doing much better.

In retrospect, I should've advocated for an EV, even though it's less convenient.

It's also interesting that the number is only that low due to poor road design, bad driving habits by other people, and traffic. When I'm in situations where I can drive more comfortably with fewer people around, I usually get MPG above 70, and for a long highway drive can get almost 100.

I kind of forgot how much of that video worked because I was able to assemble pieces I'd made before.

This is that Zettlekasten / Atomic Notes shit that people in the productivity guru space keep hyping. It can work, it just takes time and not being distracted by organization.

I was able to assemble AI is a Bias Enhancing Machine so quickly in part because I already had many notes on how AI works and its limitations. I was able to quote and insert and string together pieces of writing I had prior, and add new pieces to it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3Bh...

I have many intertwined ideas, so many that I keep writing the word intertwined recently as I try to write an introduction to a video. I think I need to stop trying to write intros and a consistent video, and start writing pieces of notes.

I get it, a declutter button is useful, but also you could just limit the length of the list, and also ERRORS SHOULD NOT BE CLEARED WITHOUT MAKING THEM OBVIOUS / making it obvious that you are erasing an error.

Like.. they're clearly coming at this from the perspective of things always working. :\

Obviously this doesn't apply for things that can't just be linked to, but many things can be linked to, and it's a disservice imo to ignore that accessibility.

To be clear, I'm not saying it's wrong to do that, I'm saying it's insufficient. They do it because it means the relevant citations are embedded in the piece, so it's much harder to strip them of context. But I should've have to find the reference myself, when you already have a way to share it.
