…’gunfighter’s chair’” facing the door. Everyone just sat down and started ordering.

“If I’d been there with a bunch of IDPA Marksmen, they’d still be trying to figure out who gets the GUNSLINGER CHAIR”

Todd Green talked about being at an early IDPA Nationals, and he was hanging with his squad: Ernest Langdon, Rob Haught, Larry Vickers, et cetera.

And they go for dinner to a steakhouse and the hostess takes them to an 8-place round top table in the corner…

“…and nobody tried for the…

I would have liked to, just once, but it is what it is.

This was also a dude who authorized M4 carbines for all his patrol cars… and still rolled with a Winchester M94 in .30-30 in his own ride.

A buddy of mine was the chief deputy of an SO in exurban Atlanta and he instituted the department policy of “If you think you need to get out of your car with a drawn gun, then you need to get out of your car with a long gun in your hands. Otherwise you don’t need a gun in your hands.”

There sure isn’t.

I’ll die without ever having bought a new car.

This is why 5.56 shorties have replaced 9mm subguns, and the ease of teaching a low-training officer to drive a 5.56 carbine effectively is why 12ga shotguns have dried up.

Federal FliteControl is voodoo because inside ten yards it’s hardly exited the shot cup. It’s a whole-ass ounce of lead pellets flying in a solid mass at that range.

Oh, nothing is “safe” indoors. People get mad when I tell them that a 5.56 carbine is probably more “safe” indoors than 9mm or 12ga.

I was just referring to the fact that FliteControl 00B at across-the-room distances will hit as a pre-fragmented slug.

I mean, Jesus, congressional Repubs are already obviously eyeing the exits.

This is the most wack year of my entire life thus far, and I’ve been here for a hot minute.

I’m surprised he didn’t have his couch-fucking muppet there for a tag-team ambush.

A .72 caliber Glaser Safety Slug is pretty cool at across-the-room distances, too.
