We’re having a drink at an outdoor cafe in Paris and a wandering dog has found us. We used purse strap as a leash. Waiter called number on collar. Walked him down block and he saw his person a few doors away, moving furniture. All is well.

Spent the day at Mont Saint Michel yesterday. What a treat! It’s definitely worth a visit.

As I walk around in France it’s very difficult to stop myself from smiling and acknowledging people when we make eye contact, but I know that’s a very American trait and I’m trying to temper that.
