When I was in college in New Jersey, I spent my nights and Saturdays delivering liquor to the nearby towns. It was the most enjoyable job I ever had—most people were genuinely happy to see me, and the tips were great. The only exception was the wealthy households, where generosity tended to dry up.

It seems our leaders—and much of the world’s population—still have their heads buried in the sand about what’s coming. Aside from those in the insurance industry, few are acknowledging how rapidly our climate is shifting toward a biosphere killing climate in the not-too-distant future.
