Desmos may be an exception of this cycle but only because it's perpetually a catalyst for many different hyperfixations:

As is with all my interests, my twisty puzzle hyperfixation has been on a decline for a while, but it's still not over yet. In fact, it's kinda been making a resurgence recently.
Today I realized it started over 6 months ago, which might be the longest I've ever held an interest in something.
