The aftermath is perhaps the most depressing part of this whole sorry affair. In essence, what happened can be concisely related. Let me give an example here.

A few weeks ago I came across a TikTok video by a diaspora creator talking about how "FGM" is dehumanizing language. "Call it excision and not mutilation, don't stigmatize the bodies of women who have experienced it!"

Here's the kicker.
Pink: "no im east african and i agree with it being called fgm, i dont think it creates a violent ‘pornographic’ image in the brain it creates simply a violent one and thats exactly what it is, why would we need or want to create a censor bar? it doesnt make sense to call it an excision either as FGM isnt surgical at all its done violently with poor equipment which leads to infection and death" Green (Creator): *Hard for me to tell but I think it's an emoji expressing stunned silence* Pink: "can you actually answer or make a good argument against what ive said, im really trying to understand why u think the way you think or why u want to create a censor bar when it comes to this topic"

Given the context of our patriarchal society and the currently reactionary political climate, do we think this is an article about m-spec attraction or the pinkwashing of the relentless pressure to participate in heterosexual society even when you're queer?

What seems more likely?
Some of Kort’s gay clients feel alienated from gay culture. Others say they’ve always wanted a traditional heterosexual family unit regardless of their own orientation. Kort acknowledges that the process of making a mixed-orientation marriage work can be “brutal” and that the number of people interested in entering one is small. “I tell them, ‘Be careful who you’re telling, because you’re not going to get a lot of support for this,’” he said. “It’s almost like they have to go into the closet as a couple.”

At that time, it was really terrifying to hear people mentioning those three words (tongxinglian). When our friends made fun of us and said, “you two look like you're tongxinglian”, my girlfriend and I would fight back at once. At first it was about not being able to come to terms with your own being. But now I understand the reason we fought back was also because we did not acknowledge our own behaviour ...Neither of us knew what to do at that time when we got together. We would always cry when we called each other, and talk about what we should do, because there was nothing to refer to. I think if we had had access to the Internet at that time, we might have gotten together; we might have stayed together and overcome many obstacles. You basically won’t think of living this kind of life. You feel there is no future for this. You think that no one would embark on this road or that this road is impossible to begin with. You feel that everyone should get married ... I remember the night before my wedding, [my girlfriend] went with me and stayed at a hotel. There were many relatives at my home, and it gave me an excuse to stay out in order to get a good rest. So she stayed with me at a hotel room. The next morning, I had to return home to put my makeup on and to prepare for the wedding. It was really... together we were crying and crying till four in the morning. That was the night before my wedding.’

Why did so many German doctors join the Nazi Party early? During the Weimar Republic in the mid-twentieth century, more than half of all German physicians became early joiners of the Nazi Party, surpassing the party enrollments of all other professions. From early on, the German Medical Society played the most instrumental role in the Nazi medical program, beginning with the marginalization of Jewish physicians, proceeding to coerced "experimentation," "euthanization," and sterilization, and culminating in genocide via the medicalization of mass murder of Jews and others caricatured and demonized by Nazi ideology. Given the medical oath to "do no harm," many postwar ethical analyses have strained to make sense of these seemingly paradoxical atrocities. Why did physicians act in such a manner? Yet few have tried to explain the self-selected Nazi enrollment of such an overwhelming proportion of the German Medical Society in the first place. This article lends insight into this paradox by exploring some major vulnerabilities, motives, and rationalizations that may have predisposed German physicians to Nazi membership-professional vulnerabilities among physicians in general (valuing conformity and obedience to authority, valuing the prevention of contamination and fighting against mortality, and possessing a basic interest in biomedical knowledge and research), economic factors and motives (related to physician economic insecurity and incentives for economic advancement), and Nazi ideological and historical rationalizations (beliefs about Social Darwinism, eugenics, and the social organism as sacred). Of particular significance for future research and education is the manner in which the persecution of Jewish physician colleagues was rationalized in the name of medical ethics itself. Sealing the deal, the second charge against dominance feminism is that it papers over the cases where women are privileged over men, once more principally deploying race to make the argument. To deny that affluent white women oppress working-class Black men, as dominance feminism—supposedly—does, is to deny a fundamental social reality of US-American society, to instrumentalize sex for reactionary purposes and perpetuate harmful stereotypes of “male threat” against men of color that have been used to justify violence and carceralism against them since the very inception of the United States. (Astute readers, at this point, might be arching their brows and itching to ask questions, such as “Wait, what about working-class Black women? What about patriarchal societies that aren’t or precede the United States?” That is not important right now. We are demonstrating why feminism is bad.) By demonstrating these deficiencies, we have conclusively proved that dominance feminism is a bad theory: it fails to grapple with nuanced analyses that illustrate why women of color do not share gendered interests with white women, and intersectional analyses that account for racialized men. (Those who might be asking how ‘racialized man’ is an intersectional identity—what other marginalization is their racialization intersecting with, in this example?—are surely non-intersectional in their own right.) We therefore cannot trust any feminist theory that insists that all men oppress all women, as dominance and radical feminisms obviously(?) do. To do so would be to reify the oppressive logics being neglected to advance a sex-essentialist agenda, and would be colonial and white-supremacist and transphobic and bourgeois and worse! Truly, no more infallibly compelling argument has ever been made.

@assignedmedia.org argued with trans women for days over using "AMAB femininity" over "transmisogyny".

Transmisogyny is only brought up by others when people point out how it harms cis women. Or cis queer men.
