A wonderful commission done by @leggy2fast.art for myself driving the rig with my paw flat to the floor, and @the-floppunist.bsky.social on the radio. Yes, yes, MFD doesn't actually operate these. Let me dream.
An ambulance, specifically a type 1 ambulance based on a truck chassis, with the emergency lights flashing as it exits the fire department station en route towards an emergency. The coyote driving the truck is flashing a peace sign at the viewer while the dog in the right seat looks at him with an expression somewhere between mild amusement and mild terror. The ambulance itself is leaning hard to the left as it turns sharply to the right, as well as the suspension bouncing from the large bump it had just taken. Behind the ambulance, a progress pride flag flutters in the wind as the rig accelerates. On the side, lettering on the rig reads "MEDIC 16" and "MINNEAPOLIS FIRE DEPARTMENT"

55 years ago today, Apollo 13 splashed down after the failure that crippled the spacecraft at T+142:54:41. A relieving end to the days of tension on the coast back home.
Three bright orange parachutes in the center of the frame can be seen suspending an object. The object, which is the command module of the Apollo 13 spacecraft, is hidden behind a large splash of water as it impacts the ocean at the conclusion of the mission. The weather is good and the sea state is calm.

Now that Hauk is here, and I've been on a certain kick recently, here's Pathfinder again. Drawn by the talented @haukart.bsky.social. Designed for assisting all NASA operations, from being on orbit to outreach. Here he's using his Hubble plushy to help explain gravitational slingshotting.
An anthropomorphized space shuttle, or an aeromorph so to speak. He's holding a plushy of the Hubble Space Telescope in his right hand with a pen in his left. He seems to be in a lecture mode. His eyes glow orange on the glass visor where the real shuttle's cockpit windows are. His tail is long and thick, and very huggable. His body is black and white, to match the shuttle's thermal tiles and thermal blankets. On his tail is the large vertical stabilizer and the orbital maneuvering system pods on each side. Pathfinder's legs have mechanical components to them, both alluding to his synthetic nature and matching the orbiter's landing gear. He's wearing a lab coat only, exposing just a little flash of that (extremely rubbable) orbiter tummy. The lab coat has a NASA logo on the right shoulder and a patch of Earth on the left. It also has two pins, one representing the full shuttle stack with the solid rocket boosters and external tank, and a flag of the United States of America (this commission was obtained BEFORE current events, Pathfinder would be abhorred). All in all, he looks both snuggleable and like a massive nerd.

A dam's spillway gate. The girders are very rusted, and a significant amount of water is rushing out through leaks in the spillway gate. Ice is hanging from various parts of the gate where water sprayed and froze. A focus on a single branch of a tree with last year's dead blooms, brown and dangling. Behind the tree, one of the heavily leaking spillway gates can be seen with the dam's cracked and spalling concrete structure. Two warning signs are present, reading DANGER and DANGER AREA with the remaining text indistinguishable. The stilling basin of a dam, with water flowing over the ledges and down into the Mississippi River. A large ice formation is on the lower right, showing interesting patterns and flows where water cut its way through as the rest of the ice remained frozen. In the distance and along the left, large volumes of water can be seen gushing from the damaged spillways with only one spillway discharging water normally. The dam's power house containing its turbines can be seen at the center top, very distant. A scenic shot of the Mississippi River downstream of the dam. The far bank of the river can be seen with the dormant trees awaiting spring. Center of the shot, the river can be seen flowing with significant turbulence, suggesting it's flowing very rapidly for how wide it is at this section. Closer and near the bottom, a large ice sheet covered in snow can be seen along with rocks for erosion resistance. They seem to be working, with how the ice is still in place despite the river moving swiftly. At the bottom of the frame, a downed tree can be seen. To the right, a stump with fire damage at the top and the far right.

An experiment with color, done for the splendid @thatwittygentleman.bsky.social. I'm rather satisfied with the results, the composition is pretty okay and the sepia post-processing really works well with this barker.

Some of my favorite shots from my photo shoot with @ainava.bsky.social taken at Biggest Little Fur Con. Photos taken with a Nikon D80 using a 50mm prime lens. Despite its age, and poor low-light performance, it's a lovely DSLR.

On the closing day of Biggest Little Fur Con, I had the pleasure of doing photoshoots with two good friends. The first is of Jack Vulfrum, who doesn't have a bsky as far as I know. And the second is @ainava.bsky.social. Believe it or not, all photos taken with a Nikon D80 from ~2005.
