I can’t believe any of the massive contracts went through normal procurement.
Wall St appear convinced it’s only members of the elite wealth club who are ever going to receive these contracts. I wonder why that might be.

I think it's simpler. They hate non-whites and poor people. Someone else had such problems in the last century.

Powerful people were stupid enough to indulge in nefarious activities, all of which they know will have been filmed and likely handed to friends out east. Which means such people are totally Kompromatted, right up to their eyeballs. Which explains a lot of the collusion, complicity and horrors.

A plan might be to eliminate and then replace jobs with AI; reduce education opportunities, especially research, PhD and science funding; buy up farmland for gov to own and feed their supporters; leave the poor with the choice of picking turnips in the scorching sun or sign up to be cannon fodder.

Their wealth is derived from massively over-valued shares. However, many of them now have so many US and non-US gov contracts they don’t need to court traditional consumers (us) as we are just a cost to taxpayer. They also know they are unlikely to ever be removed from contracts if Rs stay in power

A smidgeon of hope lies in the fact many of these techcos are so vastly over-valued that one day, probably sooner than later, it’s all going to go bang, big time. It will hurt us but also help rein them in.
