i forget how evocative it can be, but morrowind fanart is so distinctly different in its attempt to reflect the source, and i adore it! ive fallen into it myself when doodling morrowind stuff too! it's so wonderful

tbh even just moving the pale wisp colony to where the crater was would be enough? newcomers wouldnt be confused (or any more confused than if they saw the pale wisps slightly west anyway), it'd clean up south draynor a bit, and it'd be a nice nod to rs3's story

ngl that would be really neat, human kingdoms could easily describe the dress up part of halloween as scaring away zamorakian demons, as opposed to worshipping zamorak directly (that'd even open up ideas for mini quests where leaders try to stop it, getting the wrong idea about the festival)
