The sunflowers I have growing this summer I planted to honor Ukraine 🌻🇺🇦🌻. I look at them, and I hold Ukraine in my heart.

Time for being out in the garden
where so much is going on. The Sunflower Cafe has had a lot of pollinators visiting.

Won’t be long before this big sunflower says hello.

I do not like observing this in my country, & I can’t look away. The fact is in the U.S.we have far too many ideal subjects of totalitarian rule:

“people for whom the distinction between fact & fiction, true & false, no longer exists.”

Tadzhik here: 21 July 2025.
I’ve been thinking a lot abt what to do w/ Trump & all of his fools; we simply can’t let this administration destroy our country & Constitution & the Bill of Rights & the Rule of Law.

⚠️The EPA must ASAP designate the toxic Trump administration a Superfund Clean-Up Site ⚠️

Americans are facing the possibility of totalitarian rule. Trump is betraying America. Don’t let Trump’s gaslighting capture us. Americans must stand firm & protect the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, & the Rule of Law. The United States is no place for a totalitarian government.

This columbine is the first flower to bloom in our garden this spring. Watch, wait & wonder… one way to capture the longing for your plants to blossom. And this columbine plant has many buds that will bloom, so there will be many seeds to collect & scatter in other places.

Out early this morning. Cold b/c hard frost overnight. I was okay though; I still have my winter coat. The sunshine brought us a very pleasant day. Today I got to climb trees, romp & race through the field, go down to check out the creek & roll back & forth in the warmed sand by the creek.

Wow! I didn’t know I could walk on the creek when it was frozen. This is interesting - a new vantage point to pick up scents. I know the beavers have been feeding under the brush here.
