Taco Scott

Someone wishing for a brighter tomorrow. And tacos for dinner. I think that last part I can make happen.
Yes, but only if you have an eating mechanic (for health restoration or whatever) and the player eats too much.

Maybe time to repost this: bsky.app/profile/cnas...
"Following the law of armed conflict is not a burden on warriors; it is the very expression of their warrior ethos. It is what separates professional soldiers, airmen, and sailors from criminals."

Former CNO Admiral John Richardson (Ret.)

I'll add my 2c. I'm a moderate Missourian who used to identify with both parties, but most I hung out with were Republican. In the Trump era, I feel personally betrayed and abandoned by Republicans, including those I used to hang out with. They went where I couldn't follow, and I'm mostly alone now.

Note that what I'm thinking here is that the executive could recommend a list of pardons to the congressional committee, not that they would pick people themselves, but it would be up the committee to approve and make pardons official.

If you want to argue that this would be handing an executive action to a body that is supposed to just make law, then fine. Eliminate pardons altogether. I was being nice by suggesting it could still be done by committee.

I hope we've learned that this is a flaw in our system of government. Power must be spread out, and pardon power should not rest with the executive. It should require a bipartisan congressional committee, and I'd recommend that the a reason for every pardon should be required to be public record.

I've had Firefox fail to load Youtube videos many times, usually after an extended period of being on the site. I've read it might have something to do with their attempts to combat ad blocking (even though I don't use ad blockers), though can't verify. I usually have to close browser and reopen

I'll advocate for caring about climate change in a healthy democracy. It makes long term sense for humanity to not fundamentally change the chemical composition of our atmosphere in highly dubious and unintentional ways. But we are not in a healthy democracy, so I've personally shelved the issue.

Okay, so where's my yacht? Disclaimer: This is not a disagreement with your premise.

It doesn't matter if a President has visited places prior to becoming President. What matters is that they can effectively leverage expertise in areas where they lack knowledge.

Right or wrong, if you work off premise that people are not inherently good, it makes more sense why Democracy is the best form of gov for good outcomes, and why, if you have a moral framework, it's best to cloak it strategically in campaign if you want to win an election to be able to govern by it.

That looks like a melting pot dog that maybe even has some panda and walrus in it. Still cute though.

I assume this is someone being sarcastic. Asking for AI to write the AI prompts for you. I'm genuinely curious what the AI would come up with. This could be a new meta, asking AI to do the most ludicrous things we can come up with creatively and see how bad we can break it.

For the record, it was Elissa Slotkin. Not sure why I haven't noticed her more before. She seems top notch.

They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.

For resources, there's quite a few ore nodes nearby, and you can go almost straight down to find rubies and gel sacs and the sea treader path for all the shale resources your heart desires.

I look back with a lot of regrets. I came out okay in the end, but so much went wrong, a lot of it my own fault. They were not the best years of my life. My life gradually improved over time, and I'm at peace when it's time to go. The biggest disappointment is humanity. Is this really all we are?

I'm a long time Java developer using Unity in part because C# provides a similar experience to Java. You've made me curious to check out jMonkeyEngine to see what it can do.

I could be wrong, but I believe the FBI has a deep bench of Americans who care about proper application of law as well as their own integrity. Sure, Patel can direct them to engage in various dumb activities, but as a whole I believe the organization has not succumbed to Trumpian corruption.
