I mean they probably have different reasons for being terrible. Like China, even with a massive population, is really, really old, which doesn't contribute to the people who can play football. And the US/India have other sports they prioritize. So it depends on the country

I know that Brian Flores' scheme involves a lot of moving parts and uncertainty around the blitzers, but I had always assumed that that leads to weaknesses in the run game due to inconsistent gap coverage
And if the linemen are making up for that weakness and more, then that's incredibly impressive

I get where you're coming from, but you need all three starters playing at a high level to stay competitive. KD alone is making 50 million a year. You can't have him be the closer when he makes a quarter of the team's salary.

Raw plus minus can be an incredibly misleading stat, particularly if his minutes are played in conjunction with a superstar (Anthony Davis, Lebron James)
Big advanced stat guy myself, but you have to be careful about how you apply them, particularly in their raw forms and in small sample sizes.
