But these past 3 months Ive had so much engagement with users that have no idea how anything anywhere ever works.

And they blame the product for their lack of competency.

So yeah.
I am reconsidering a lot about how I’d be engaging with the asset creation process.

The one consistent patron on my page makes me smile every month when I see he’s stuck with me for so long.

I feel like its not gonna be Deadlocked or Half Life.
Cause Deadlocked is technically announced. And based on the last Ive seen/played they still have quite a bit of work left

And they did just announce a new VR Headset
Could be Alyx 2 or something like that

Most people are just gonna complain because they have no idea how Unreal Engine works.

Because they’ll watch one Game Dev Vlog and think “Oh its easy. It’ll take 20 minutes a week to make my video game”

As if Raymond Cripps’ devlog hasnt been going for years already

So why even meet this imaginary demand?
40 animations per pack is already insane.
Especially now that most asset packs come with Blender files and even Unity Files.

And I can expand the list of animations more and more every asset pack and people will still complain that theres not enough or that it doesnt come with control rig or an Animation Blueprint.

EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NEVER ADVERTISED IT AS SUCH!

Maya still have better animation tools.
Blender is pretty much king everywhere where else, but Maya is the place for game animation.

I tried another method and its not working. This makes no sense.

I been way too distracted and have too many animations to do.
at least today, I had an epiphany and figured out an issue I was having in the game.

So theres something new in the game. Didn't expect that today.

BTW, everyone thinks they are going to announce Half Life 3
As I recall, Alyx was quite the success and with the advent of the Steam Frame, A type of Alyx 2 maybe in the works.
Possibly ready for the platform's launch.
