I need to set a reminder to post this in November. Somehow a nice little car with Fukuoka plates must have taken a wrong turn and gone a few thousand miles out of it's way to end up here. I want this car.

For an early father's day, we went back to the yakiniku restaurant in Rockville. This time I got pics of the menu for the Hakuho and Enho sets.

I found a yakiniku place in Rockville tonight while my daughter does ballet. They have a Hakuho set of Miyazaki wagyu. Of all places to eat tonight... appropriate.
I do not have enough people with me for the Hakuho. I do not have enough people for the Enho.

The first replay of NHK's charity sumo tournament will begin in a few moments on NHK World Premium. It will be streamed multiple times over the weekend via the jme.tv service.

JME.tv is one of the few options for watching live Makuuchi sumo in the US. It's basically the NHK World Premium service for North America.
They also have a special sumo channel during tournaments which repeats the full, live video. JME.tv will show the NHK charity Basho (taped).

Your top wrestler just became Yokozuna. What do you do to celebrate? The head of Tatsunami-beya's Osaka support group got a 200kg tuna to celebrate at the stable. Looks like they enjoyed a lesson in cleaning and filleting, and preparing it. Beats any fraternity party I've ever been to. Hands down.

The Kyokai has announced extra security precautions for senshuraku. My guess is that a VIP will be in attendance. It's been a while since the Emperor or the PM came by.
Bottom line, if you are going to be there tomorrow, expect a bag search.
