I’ve played this 5x at two players, once at 3x, and it’s actually more straightforward than it looks. My strategy: go for the Location tiles (they grant an instant rep) and treatises. I then try to cure some patients to unlock their ongoing benefit.

I led team Fremen as Muad’ Dib (gals) vs the Emperor Shaddam Corrino (guys).

Both of us are, and this phrase will come in handy!

I usually play heavy euros and I was pleasantly surprised how fun it is—so much so that I upgraded it! It’s a great filler and with the right people, lots of lolz at the table.
