I'm an assistant professor in the Biochemistry Department at UPenn. The focus of my lab is on understanding mechanisms of cell death that regulate the innate immune system.
In complementary work, the Boucher lab also found that CASP4/5 directly cleave CASP3/7, and specificity is engendered mainly by the exosite. Check out thier beautiful biochemistry below.
