Overall extremely positive, wish I could do it again for CB but I have flights and 14+hr drive two days before so I don't think it's plausible for me in the slightest.

Also, I'm really glad that my little shakycam project actually worked out. I almost didn't do it, but it gave me something to focus on other than my own mid performance and makes me feel like I'm giving something to the community.

Also yadda yadda COW going over by well over an hour, and it was annoying as shit that all the people seated by the end of it were CF people anyways so there wasn't even a chance to get seats. It was funny to be sitting in the xrd section cheering for CF.

Top 48 CF was absolutely miserable tho fr. Please for the love of god at least put enough space for people to spectate. Trying to get shakycams at the beginning of top48 almost made me just walk out and give up on the whole thing.

I have the same complaints about the venue as everyone else, but I'm easily sensory overloaded so to be honest... it felt the same as every other convention I've been to.

At least it wasn't pax east, yannow?

But maybe that's because I don't know what "good" tourneys are like.

There were still some very disappointing moments. Didn't get to play some people I really wanted to play, and I got the vibe that they didn't fw me.

But I got over it (for once!) because I had such a good time with friends and genuinely felt like part of the community for the first time.

I finally got to meet in-person a bunch of people I've been playing with online, and they were all such amazing people and I had a great time hanging out with all of them.

THAT is key for me. I don't know if it's the way I act or I accidentally do it to myself, but I tend to get... excluded?

Next time around I hope to have a better camera. I'm really not happy with the video quality, and it's probably because I used my old phone.

Not sure how to fix this; even when I get a new phone, my current phone's battery is set to manually disable itself (pixel 6a) so I can't use it next time...
