And yes there are people who enter illegally and yes there are those who have criminal records, no one will deny that. The issue is when ICE is detaining people with expired visas who are WORKING and paying taxes, who are in the process of getting citizenship it’s a clear violation of trust.

Immigration status is basically a paperwork issue. ICE is nothing but glorified administrative officials in cosplay. Many “illegal” immigrants have no status because they are in process. This is why they arrest people in court. Or at they’re jobs. They are ON record and waiting. It’s all paperwork.
