Contracts (and constitutions) are meaningless pieces of paper. They only matter when there's a court willing to interpret them faithfully and an authority willing to enforce them.

My thoughts are that it's obscene to provide equipment to fascists that we know damn well they will use to repress people.

New parents need to be taught these skills. It's on them to teach their child how to regulate their emotions through example and co-regulation, and that's never going to happen when they are dysregulated themselves.

I think I'd be leery too, if I lived in a province with such questionable and immoral leadership. But the answer there is to bring in quality leaders and educate the people, not to get rid of tools that work.

I have my doubts. They will 'find out' that it was the Democrats or gays or immigrants and go hog with the bigotry again. Rural farmers have been doubling down on this nonsense for literal decades, and I see no reason they would stop the idiocy now.
