the idea that interfaces should be beautiful as a priority has always felt off to me. good interfaces disappear & bad ones insist on themselves
it's astounding (derogatory) this shipped anywhere past a designer mockup. it's like one of those posts by UI designers where they "reimagine" an app or operating system with 0 regard for actual usability
