That said I am THRILLED with how the tile came out in the guest bathroom shower. I found this tile and had this vision and laid out the tile and it came out amazingly.
a tile shower. the tile is a cream color on the floor and continuing up the wall, with some tiles appearing with blue and gray semi-circles more and more frequently as you go up in height. there is a small niche in the center. there are no fixtures yet and no glass.

Ooo. I did my craft room cabinets a slightly lighter blue with vaguely more gray undertones.

Anyway I know you were renovation-interested because this is what my brain DOES retain so here's a recent photo of the kitchen in progress.
A room with white walls and several windows showing greenery, clearly still under renovation. There are several banks of cabinets clad in white oak, with wall cabinets and a large kitchen island. No countertops are in place yet, but there is gray stone-like tile under the kitchen itself.

Saturday morning's sunrise was pretty transcendent though.

I have finished the tote bags! This was the last one I did, for my mom. She loves daisies and the color yellow. (The inside is lined with a gorgeous yellow batik print.)
A market-style tote bag. The body is black denim with embroidered daisies on it. There is a zippered cream colored cloth cover across the top and a zippered pocket about halfway across the body; both zippers are bright yellow. The handles are also cream colored.

I do this to myself, alas. This hobby would be better if I could, you know, count properly.

There is a counted cross stitch pattern in progress, with an art deco influenced design of a woman's legs and dress in pink starting to appear from the bottom. The stitches on the legs are much finer than the stitches on the dress.

We said goodbye to her this morning and my heart is broken, even if it was the right call. It’s the first time since we started living together that there hasn’t been a cat in the house and it feels wrong.
A fluffy gray cat lays regally on a deck, with the deck fencing behind her. Through the fencing you can see greenery, and there are some dead leaves in front of her on the deck. She looks content and at peace.

Alas, it might be tricky. HOWEVER we are getting rid of that half wall that serves absolutely no purpose and replacing it with an island and I cannot waiiiiiiit. Give me more cupboards with DRAWERS! Useful space! An induction stove!

This is one of my favorites because you can see it reflecting in the water. (There was such a party on Taylor Dock.)

I took so many photos. It was so amazing. My neck is going to hate me tomorrow because this was looking straight up and honestly all around. Everywhere I turned it was amazing and different.
An aurora including pink, purple, and green curtains hangs over a calm bay with sailboats. There is a gangway in front going down towards the water, and the moon is in the center. You can see the reflection of the colors in the water. Looking straight up into an aurora, which looks like a bird with a green head and tail feathers and pink wings spread wide. There are a few blurry stars. Streaks of green and pink aurora overlap to show white and almost wash out the stars peeking through behind them.

It's HERE and so gorgeous.

Almost got two color symbols very confused and was wondering how the skin was using green or the dress was using peach.

Anyway probably stopping here for the night.
