You're welcome. Your Master List has been godsend for this fledgling writer. Can't find the dead tree version in Canada yet (I do not buy from Amazon). Have to settle for the ebook from Kobo for now.

Absolutely: filler words. I tend to include them by habit, then delete them on first edit: just, that, very, simply, really, actually, somewhat, began... they make prose mushy flab.

There are places where "just", "that" and other fillers are needed, but that's rare.
